IF YOUR FAMILY NEEDS HELP
Greeley Family House is a temporary shelter, focused on assisting families who are experiencing homelessness. In addition, the House offers a 60-day program that helps families seek stability with permanent housing.
Regardless of age, race, religion, sexual orientation, color or creed, any family who is in need of temporary emergency housing is eligible. The family will be asked to demonstrate that no other housing is available and show that they are highly motivated to establish independent living as quickly as possible.
Applying for Admittance
You must apply for admittance to the program in-person at 1206 10th Street in Greeley. When a family meets the screening criteria, admission is on a space available basis.
During the admittance process you will be asked questions about your family members, about use of drugs or alcohol and asked to show proof of identity.

Does anyone in your family have alcohol or drugs in their life?

Show a valid state ID for each an adult in the household.

You will need to show a valid social security card for each child in the family.
A Program Case Manager will perform an initial telephone-call eligibility screening.
If you are accepted into the program, a Program Case Manager will assist you in preparing a self-sufficiency action plan.
During your maximum 60-day stay at the shelter, your Program Case Manager will help you find housing and employment to achieve the of your self-sufficiency plan.
